Real adventure awaits you over the mountaintop near Boracko Lake. To get there, just follow the signs for "rafting" up the long and winding mountain road. It takes about half an hour to travel up and over the mountain. Boracko Glacier Lake is snuggled in between Prenj, Bjelasnica and Visocica mountains. The lake is open to the public for camping, swimming and BBQs. The best spot is across the lake by the restaurant where you will find a great freshwater stream and plenty of shade. |

Boračko jezero
To be translated: U predivnom ambijentu hrastove šume koja okružuje jezero, ispod hotela Borašnica, možete šetati, trcati, voziti bicikl, pecati ribu i uživati, udišuci miris hrastove šume. Istovremeno možete slušati cvrkut ptica, žubor valova i spojiti se sa prirodom.

Boracko lake is set on Prenj mountain on the way to Konjic, towards Glavaticevo, it is one of the biggest lakes in BiH. It`s about 750 meters long, 400 m wide and its depth is about 12 meters with altitude of 404 m. The proprietor of the lake is «Association of Sportsfishing» from Konjic,where you can buy allovance for 20 KM. In this lake you can find brook trouts and interject californian trouts, carps whose size is enormous, from 20-35 kg. |
